How You Can Help

How You Can Help

  • Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers

Volunteers (both adults and teens) are needed to help people who are frail or temporarily disabled with transportation to medical appointments, in-home chores, grocery shopping, errands, respite bare, companionship and food prep.  Call Karen or Kaycie at 8424441

Flowers Needed  “Flowers from the Heart,” a project of Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers, needs donations of freshly cut flowers, spring through summer.  With your donations, IVC volunteers will assemble and wrap bouquets, adorn each with a personal card and deliver them to homebound and nursing home residents.  Please bring  your flowers any weekday, Mondays through Thursdays, by 12 noon to the Eagle Harbor Congregational Church on Winslow Way at Madison Ave.  Buckets are provided on the front steps.  Your donation will brighten the day of someone who might otherwise never receive such a beautiful bouquet.  For more info, call IVC at 842-4441

Donations  There are many ways to donate to support IVC’s efforts to help persons of all ages and persuasions maintain dignity and quality of life.  These include donations in memory of a loved one or for special occasions, birthdays or anniversaries;  planned giving that creates a link between us and those who come after us, passing down the values we believe in; and other individual donations.  For more information, visit IVC’s website, www.ivcbainbridge.org.
