History
In 1997 the Interfaith Council (IFC) was formed as a new organization that was an ecumenically wider outgrowth of the former Interparish Council. Formed in 1968, the Interparish Council in its early days helped provide school and day care for children of migrant berry farm workers. In 1974, it founded Fishline House, which became what is now Helpline House.
Delegates and Meetings
Each member faith community is represented on the council by up to 3 delegates. Members take turns in hosting meetings, which normally occur the the first Thursday evening of each month from September through June.
